At Stillwater’s Yoga, we practice yoga not as a religious ritual, but as a tool for worship — weaving Scripture, prayer, and movement into a practice that honors the One who made you.
Whether you’ve been on the mat for years or you’re just beginning, you belong here.
You may be wondering — can yoga and Christianity coexist?
At Still Water’s, the answer is a wholehearted yes.
Christ-centered yoga is not a religion, a ritual, or a replacement for church. It is simply yoga — movement, breath, and stillness — offered as an act of worship to God. We use the physical practice of yoga as a tool to connect more deeply with our Creator, pairing poses with prayer, Scripture, and intentional reflection. Yoga itself is neutral. Like journaling, walking, or music, it can be used for many purposes.
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19
At Still Waters Yoga, we use it to glorify God and draw closer to Him.
In a Christ-centered yoga class, you might move through a sequence while meditating on a verse, pause in stillness to pray, or simply breathe and let your body be an offering. There is no chanting, no Eastern spirituality, and no conflict with your faith. Just movement, presence, and worship.
Whether you’ve practiced yoga for years or have never set foot on a mat, you are welcome here — exactly as you are.
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks God the father through him” — Colossians 3:17
All are welcome here — whether you’re brand new to yoga or faith, seasoned in one or both, or somewhere beautifully in between. Every offering is an invitation to show up exactly as you are.
Experience the beauty of a fully personalized Christ-centered yoga session in the comfort of your own home. Private classes are tailored to your body, your fitness level, and your spiritual season — whether you need gentle movement, deep stretching, or a focused time of prayer and stillness.

“Be still and know that I am God.”

I’ve practiced yoga most of my adult life. It has always been, for me, simply a tool to stay in shape and center my mind. When I became a Christian, I didn’t want to leave the mat. I wanted to bring my whole self to it.
I began looking for a yoga practice that reflected my faith, and what I found changed everything. I became a certified instructor in March 2026, and Still Waters Yoga was born out of a simple, heartfelt desire: to move in a way that glorifies God.
We believe the body was made to glorify God. Every breath, every movement, every moment of stillness is an opportunity to offer ourselves fully to Him — mind, body, and spirit.
We were not made to walk this path alone. At Stillwater’s, we gather as a fellowship of believers — encouraging one another, holding space for each other, and worshiping together in a spirit of love and belonging.
Our bodies are gifts — temples of the Holy Spirit, entrusted to our care. We honor God by caring for them with intention, gratitude, and grace.
